Delete your account
You can delete your Mindful Drinking Coach account and its data at any time, from inside the app. You do not need to contact anyone first, and you do not need an active subscription to do it. Deletion is not reversible.
How to delete it
- Open Mindful Drinking Coach and go to Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. The account and the data listed below are removed.
What is permanently deleted
Your coach conversations, coach memory and preferences, safety state, drink, mood and urge logs, daily check-ins, evening plans, your profile, any feedback you sent, and unused credit holds. Your sign-in identity is removed as part of the same operation.
What is kept, disconnected from you
Purchase, subscription, credit and usage records. Your user ID is replaced with an anonymised identifier so they can no longer be traced to you. These are retained to meet financial record-keeping obligations, then deleted.
Backups may hold residual copies briefly before they rotate out.
Your subscription is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because the subscription is held by the app store rather than by us. Cancel it in Google Play or in your Apple account settings before or after deleting — uninstalling the app does not cancel it either.
If you cannot open the app
If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, contact us using the details below and we will action the request. We may need to verify that the account is yours before deleting it.
