You must be 21 or older

This app is for adults aged 21 or over. We ask you to confirm your age before any health content is shown or any data is collected, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 21 to hold an account.

If we learn an account belongs to someone under 21, we close it and delete the data.

What this app is not

The app helps adults drink more mindfully. It offers check-ins, logging, urge tools, progress insights, and conversations with an AI coach. It does not provide medical care.

Lora is not a therapist, doctor, or clinician. It offers evidence-informed support, not medical, clinical, or diagnostic advice.

Lora is an AI. Its replies are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuited to your situation. Use your own judgement and speak to a qualified professional before acting on anything affecting your health.

Do not stop drinking abruptly if you may be physically dependent on alcohol. Sudden cessation can be dangerous and in some cases fatal. Seek medical guidance first. This app is not a detox programme.

This app is not an emergency service. It cannot summon help and is not monitored in real time. If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. The crisis resources in the app are provided for convenience and work offline, but they are not a substitute for emergency services.

Goals, screening results, insights, and progress figures are informational only, and are derived from what you choose to log.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for what happens under it. Tell us if you think it has been used without your permission.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile. Deletion is not reversible.

Subscriptions and payment

Some features require Premium, sold as an auto-renewing subscription and billed by the app store you installed from — not directly by us. Prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase.

Where a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

We may also give new users a short period of Premium at no cost and with no payment method required. That is a courtesy, not a purchase, and can be withdrawn.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel through your app store settings — we cannot cancel a store subscription for you, and uninstalling the app does not cancel it.

Refunds are governed by the store’s policy. Direct refund requests to Apple or Google.

Coaching credit packs are consumed as you use them and are not refundable except where the law or store policy requires.

Premium coaching is generous but not unlimited; fair-use limits keep the service available to everyone. Current limits are shown in the app.

We may change prices. Changes apply from your next renewal, with the notice the stores require.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put in — your logs, check-ins, notes, your saved “why”, and your conversations with the coach.

You give us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to run the service for you: personalising coaching, generating your insights, and syncing your devices. We do not sell your personal data.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app if you are under 21, use it for anyone but yourself, impersonate anyone, attempt to extract or resell any part of it or its AI output, interfere with its operation or security, bypass usage limits or payment, or use it unlawfully or to harm yourself or another person.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

Availability

We aim to keep the app working but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may release updates you need to install. Some features need a connection; the crisis resources are designed to work offline.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that its content or AI output is accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will give reasonable notice in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use the app means you accept the update.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which xCube Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules — and without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
